LATEST RUSSIA PROGRAM UPDATE

There are two reasons that families need to keep their documents up to date. The first one is that documents must be less than 12 months old at the time of court. This means that the document must have been signed and notarized less than 12 months ago, and that the notary did not expire before the end of 12 months. So, if your document was signed more than 12 months ago, OR if the notary has expired, then your document is out of date.>>

PROGRAM FEES

It is not a secret that Russia has undergone quite a few changes in recent years. Part of this transformation means that prices for goods and services have sky-rocketed. While we also experience slight inflation in the United States, it is nowhere near the rate of Russia, where the average annual inflation rate has been at around 12% for several years now and is expected to hit 14% in 2009. In addition to this, the exchange rate of US dollar to the Russian ruble is constantly shifting, making it difficult to predict where it will be at any given time. As a result, it was determined that any family that applied prior to January 01, 2008, will have to pay the $1,000 Currency Adjustment/Inflation Fee in order to “correct” the differences between Russian and US economies. This adjustment will be calculated in the final fees.
